History of the House Gornergorge in Zermatt
The house Gornergorge was built in 1904 and belongs to the first touristic addresses in Zermatt.
The house was reconstructed in 1975 and completely renovated till 2016.
Hospitality and openness in authentic natural environment have been our hallmark for 100 years.
Our host is to feel at ease and to recover on this pretty piece of earth. A looked after atmosphere offers the best conditions.
The family Cornelia Schmidt lives this creed already in the third generation and maintains the house Gornergorge as a real family business.
